Will the EP320 work with my Polycom VVX phone?

This article applies to the Nearity EP320 noise-cancelling headset with mic.

Short Answer: Partially — Audio Only, No Call Control

The EP320 supports Bluetooth and USB-A dongle connections and is primarily designed for use with computers, mobile phones, and tablets.

Some Polycom VVX desk phone models (such as VVX 600 / VVX 601) offer built-in Bluetooth and may allow pairing with the EP320. However, please note this important limitation:

What Works and What Doesn’t

• ❌ Even when connected, the EP320 does not support direct call control functions (such as answering or ending calls from the headset).

• 1️⃣ When a call comes in, you must first answer the call on the IP phone itself.

• 2️⃣ After the call is connected on the phone, you can use the EP320 for audio (listening and speaking).

In short, the headset can be used for audio once connected, but it cannot replace the phone for handling call operations.
