Here are a few useful tips to help you navigate NearHub Canvas more easily and get the most out of your interactive smart board.
Use the Stylus for Writing and Your Fingers for Navigation
NearHub Canvas is designed for both stylus and touch interaction.
- Use the stylus to write, draw, erase, and add sticky notes.
- Use your fingers to select and move objects on the Canvas.
- Use two fingers to zoom in or out.
This makes it easy to write with the stylus while navigating the Canvas with your fingers.
Quickly Select Objects
Use the Selection Tool on the toolbar to select objects on the Canvas.
Once selected, you can move or edit the object without switching to another tool.
Quickly Switch Between Pages
The page controls in the bottom-right corner provide two convenient ways to navigate your Canvas:
- Select Add Page to create a new page.
- Select the Pages button to view all pages and quickly switch between them.
Change the Background When Needed
You can quickly change the Canvas background from the Background option.
Choose a background style that fits your activity, such as a grid or lined layout.
Use Templates for Quick Workflows
Instead of building a whiteboard from scratch, open Templates from the toolbar to access ready-made workflows.
Templates can help you quickly set up activities such as mind maps and other common workflows.
Import Content Directly to the Canvas
Need to add an image or document to your whiteboard?
Use the File option in the toolbar to import local images or files directly onto the Canvas.
Keep Presentation Mode in Mind
When presenting your Canvas to an audience, use Presentation Mode to hide unnecessary interface elements and display your content in a cleaner full-screen view.
Sign In to Access Your Whiteboards
Sign in to your NearHub account to access the whiteboards associated with your account.
Open the account menu to Sign In or Sign Out. Once signed in, your saved whiteboards will be available from your account.
