The AM01 is an external expansion microphone that extends the audio pickup range of compatible Nearity conference cameras. Its plug-and-play design makes it suitable for virtually any scenario.
Compatible Cameras and Coverage
Each AM01 adds a 3-meter pickup radius to the camera's built-in range.

The AM01 connects to the camera, not to your computer or NearHub Board. It will not function as a standalone USB microphone.
When to Use the AM01
Add an AM01 when participants are seated beyond the camera's built-in microphone range. Typical cases:
- Large conference rooms or boardrooms with 12+ participants
- U-shaped or training room layouts where participants are spread across a wide area
For rooms where all participants are within 5 meters of the camera, the AM01 is not needed.
