Product Overview

The Nearity 360 Alien is a 4K 360° all-in-one conference camera that integrates cameras, microphones, and a speaker in a single device that sits in the middle of the meeting table.

Key Features

  • Four 8 MP SONY Starvis CMOS sensors with 4 × 120° ultra-wide-angle lenses (F2.0, fixed focus), stitching a true 4K, distortion-free 360° view. A 30° automatic exclusion zone filters out displays or walls behind the unit.
  • Three AI view modes: Discussion frames up to 4 active speakers, Global keeps a steady 120° main-lens view, and Presentation tracks and zooms on the current speaker. Speaker tracking (voice + face detection), auto-framing, auto exposure, and auto white balance are built in.
  • Six omnidirectional noise-cancelling microphones with ProperClean 2.0 AI audio, full-duplex, and Automatic Gain Control — a 16 ft / 5 m pickup radius out of the box.
  • An 83 dB Hi-Fi speaker (80 ± 3 dB, 4 Ω / 3 W).
  • Up to two expansion microphones extend voice pickup to 52 ft / 16 m for long tables and large rooms.
  • Five touch buttons for mute, volume, and modes, plus a remote control.
  • Plug-and-play over USB-C or the optional NA20 Wireless Dongle — no drivers, no apps, no IT ticket. HDMI and RJ45 are also supported for fixed room setups.

Room Suitability

The 360 Alien scales from huddle rooms to boardrooms with modular expansion microphones — no complex IT retrofits.

  1. Huddle / small room: 3–6 people, 100–160 sq ft. Use 1 × 360 Alien. Add 1 expansion mic for extended coverage.
  1. Medium room: 6–12 people, 150–300 sq ft. Use 1 × 360 Alien + 1 expansion mic (Starter Kit).
  1. Large room: 12–20 people, 300–600 sq ft. Use 1 × 360 Alien + 2 expansion mics (Ultimate Kit), extending pickup up to 16 m / 52 ft. Supports rooms of up to 30+ people.
Place the device near the center of the meeting table so everyone sits within the 360° coverage area. The ring light turns on when the device is ready.

Platform Compatibility

The 360 Alien connects as a standard USB camera and speakerphone — no extra software required.

  • Meeting platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and most other meeting applications.
  • Select the 360 Alien as the camera, microphone, and speaker in your platform's device settings.
