Recommended Nearity AM01 External Microphone for V30S/120 Max/360 Alien

The AM01 is an external expansion microphone that extends the audio pickup range of compatible Nearity conference cameras. Its plug-and-play design makes it suitable for virtually any scenario.

Compatible Cameras and Coverage

Each AM01 adds a 3-meter pickup radius to the camera's built-in range.

The AM01 connects to the camera, not to your computer or NearHub Board. It will not function as a standalone USB microphone.

When to Use the AM01

The AM01 is intended for rooms where participants sit beyond the camera's built-in microphone range:

• Large conference rooms or boardrooms with 12+ participants
• U-shaped or classroom-style room layouts
• Rooms where participants are seated far from the camera position

For small to medium rooms where all participants are within 5 meters of the camera, the AM01 is not necessary.
